Our Philosophy & Goals
Bethel Lutheran Preschool was established in the 1950s to serve the community in guiding young children to live, learn, and play in a Christian environment. We feel that an essential part of a good education is the joy of learning. We want each child to feel good about himself and to come to know Jesus as Friend, Helper, and Savior. We strive to provide quality learning experiences that allow children to develop a positive relationship with God, friends, and teachers so they will have a love for school in the years to come.
Because we believe in a hands-on approach, our program provides rich, exciting, and engaging learning experiences. Our recently-updated two-year rotating curriculum for 3- and 4-year-olds and our pre-K curriculum for 5-year-olds is based on topical monthly units and provides reading, science, math, language, fine motor, gross motor, art, social skills, and listening skills presented in a Christian environment. Our specific goals and objectives for each age group can be downloaded here.
